How to sell

   Step 1: Create your account

   Tap Account and sign up. Then add and verify your phone number in Account > Phones so buyers can trust you.

   Step 2: Tap Post Ad and pick a category

   Tap Post Ad and choose the category that best matches your item. The right category helps buyers find you.

   Step 3: Take good photos

   Use daylight and a clean background. Show the item from several angles, including any marks or damage. Photos must show the real item.

   Step 4: Write a clear title and description

   Say exactly what it is, for example brand, model, size and condition. Mention what is included and any faults. Honest ads sell faster.

   Step 5: Set a fair price

   Check Market Prices to see what similar items sell for, then set your price. Say in the description if the price is negotiable.

   Step 6: Submit your ad

   Choose your location and submit. Your ad may be checked by our moderators before it goes live. If it is rejected, you will see the reason in My Ads. Read the Seller rules first.

   Step 7: Reply to buyers quickly

   Buyers message you in Chat. Fast, polite answers win more sales. Keep the conversation on Kamafo.

   Step 8: Meet safely and confirm payment

   Meet in a busy public place. Hand over the item only after you have received the money. For Mobile Money, check your own balance: do not trust a screenshot or SMS sent by the buyer.

   Step 9: Mark your ad as sold

   When the item is gone, open My Ads and mark it as sold so buyers stop messaging you.

   Step 1: Boost an ad or choose a seller plan

   Boost one ad to show it higher, or pick a seller plan that covers all your active ads. See Promote for current options and prices.

   Step 2: Get the Verified badge

   Complete ID verification in Account > Verification. The badge shows on your profile and ads and builds buyer trust.
